Michelle turns 50

On January 17th, Michelle Obama turns 50. She, family and friends will be celebrating on Saturday, January 18 with a gala at the White House.

"Save the Date" e-mails have been sent out describing the event as "Snacks, Sips, Dancing and Dessert."

Guests have been told to eat before they arrive, to practice their dance moves and to wear comfortable shoes.

Details on the entertainment and the guest list are being kept quiet.

I'm trying to remember what I did when I turned 50.  Yes, as I recall, the wife and I went to Long John Silver's.  Good times!
