Robert Culp died today. It's interesting that as successful as he was as an actor, writer and director, he kept working right up to the end. He was 79.
Most of us first saw Culp on the NBC series "I Spy" which ran in the '60s. TV was a little different, back then. The show was hip, funny, had some drama, but was mostly hip. It was the first TV drama to feature an interracial starring cast. They filmed 28 episodes for a season. That's a bunch. For me, Culp was a neat actor - he made it look easy.
Apparently he was taking a walk, this morning and fell. They say he died from head injuries.
RIP, Bob.
