General Stanley McChrystal should have known better. He's a four star general, a West Point Grad, probably a military genius, but he has a problem with his mouth. He screwed up. Politics can be nasty. War is always nasty. I can see the curriculum at West Point adding a course in advanced PR. The man will lose his job when he meets with the President, tomorrow. He's 55 years old and can retire at any time. His problem is that he'll have to live with the fact that the mission in Afghanistan has not been accomplished. That's what is important to a military leader.
The President will accept McCrystal's resignation, say some nice things about the man and appoint someone else.
Nobody wins this one.
