Congratulations to the players and fans of the Chicago White Sox! The Sox will be in the World Series for the first time in 46 years. It should be an exciting series either against the defending NL Champion Cardinals or The Astros who have never been to the World Series. Either way, I'm pulling for the Sox. Chicago's a great town...too great to have two major league teams and to have to wait for over 80 years for a world champion baseball team. Go Go Sox!

I find it disappointing that there aren't as many baseball fans as there used to be. I, for one, am pretty much only a fan of baseball when it comes to sports. Sadly, I will admit I am a cubbie fan...
But, I continue to watch the games anyway. When it comes to the upcoming World Series... I'm not sure which team to root for. There's the White Sox...the 'other' Chicago team, and then it's down to the Cards and Astros. I would really like to see the Astro's go, since they've never been to the World Series period. But then again, the St. Louis team is closer to home.
After the big Boston Red Sox's win a while ago, defeating the curse of the Big Bambino...you'd think more people would be drawn into the game. Guess I was wrong there. So maybe my hope for another 'historic' game actually grasping the attention of outsiders, is a fluke. But if it's the Astro's vs the White Sox...Wow! Just the statistics behind the two teams would make a great mark into history! But I guess I'll just sit here, and wait for next season...and hope maybe my Cubs will grow up and develop into a team and make their own mark on history........Hah!
thats to funny ... after 46 years lmao
