Is it too early to talk about Christmas? Google announced* today that they are giving each of their employees a $1,000 holiday bonus. Not only that, but the company is paying tax on the bonus! Not only that, but Google is also giving each and every one of it's employees a 10% pay raise! This will start on January 1.
I don't get it! What could Google be thinking? Investing in their own employees?
They must be nuts!
*The announcement was leaked to the media. Google never intended for this to be made public. The offending Google employee was terminated.
Maybe the company is nuts!
