Texas Rangers pitcher Cliff Lee turned down a $150 million contract with the Yankees and has agreed to a $100 million deal with the Phillies.
Surprised? Don't be.
After the way Lee and his wife were treated by NY fans during the American League Championship Series, no amount of money in the world would get the Lee's to come to the Bronx Zoo.
I suspect that $100 million from the Phillies gave the Lees something to fall back on.
