This is more of an observation than a news item. The reason that I bring this up is that, until recently, you would never see this happening.
Ben & Jerry's ice cream has come out in favor of gay marriage. In the picture, you can see two groom figures standing on top of a wedding cake. Getting back to my thought, there was a time when businesses would keep their agendas to themselves. The reason for this was that when you expose yourself to contraversey, you risk alienation from your customer base. This costs you money and may drive you out of business... from people who won't buy a product from a company that shoves it views down its customers' throats.
Well, at least, that's how it used to be...when we were civil.
