Detroit |
Forbes.com has come out with the worst city in America. It's an annual thing.
The winner, this year, is Detroit!
The Motor City replaces Miami for this important distinction. To compile the list, Forbes looked at 200 of the country's largest urban areas and ranked them on factors including crime rates, foreclosures, taxes, home prices, commute times, weather and decreasing populations.
Most of these problems are caused by unemployment. You know, the inability to find a good paying job. This is common, especially when you have no marketable skill. If you own a company, you will locate it in a place where you can find suitable workers, right? Think about it. We're raising a generation with no skills. How come? We be lazy, that's why. Government programs will keep us from starving or freezing, right?
