Happy New Year 2014! It's here!! As we welcome a brand new year and say "Goodbye" to an old one, what does it mean? Personally, it could mean something special to you, and I hope it does. On a wider scale it really means nothing. Political leaders will be as corrupt as ever. Terror will continue, because we permit it to. Last year;s problems will continue until they are solved. New triumphs remain possible as they linger on the horizon.
I never cared much for New Year's Eve celebrations. I never saw the drama, excitement nor joy in watching a clock strike midnight! Even worse, starting the new year with a hangover can never be a good omen.
So, Happy New Year. We wish you health, happiness, safety, success and good luck for the next 12 months.
