As I was watching the Academy Awards, I thought that the host(ess) Ellen DeGeneres was kidding when she gathered Myrle Streep and others for a gigantic "selfie."
Ellen said that she was going for a record number of retweets, again, I thought she was kidding.
When DeGeneres posted the photo from her Twitter account, @TheEllenShow, a few minutes later, she captioned it: “If only Bradley’s arm was longer. Best photo ever.”
This is good basic comedy: making light of current social trends.
