Michael Vick is a New York Jet. Mark Sanchez has been released by the team and Geno Smith, the Jets' recent starter, is in danger of losing his uniform number. Still with me?

Michael Vick had been with the Philadelphia Eagles. He missed several games, last season, with injuries. Sanchez was the starting Jets' quarterback, but he missed the entire season with a pre-season shoulder injury. With Sanchez "out" Geno Smith stepped in.

Smith wears #7 on his uniform. Vick is also number #7. His line of clothing is called V7. Vick probably wants to wear the number. If I were Smith, I'd sell it to him.

Look for Vick to get injured and do little or nothing for the Jets. It's not that I don't like the Jets, I just don't like Vick. So, in NY, there will be plenty of drama as the Jets compete with the Giants for the most attention. There will be speculation about which of the two will be the starting quarterback. Doesn't matter. Vick will be injured during the second half of the season and it'll be Smith.....wearing a uniform number that is yet to be determined.
