I have always considered the Los Angeles Dodgers to be in illegit team.  When they abandoned Brooklyn it was a slap in the face to everyone who ever supported them through thick and thin (mostly thin) one lousey season after another - except for their one World Championship Season in the 1950s.  Yes, Los Angeles gave dem bums the promise of a brighter future.  Back East, we called it greed.  Greed is an ugly thing.  It's ugly and can be hurtful.

Fortunately there are those of us who refuse to be victims of this type of greed.  We do not NEED a professional sports team to survive.  They are not necessary for us to THRIVE!

Sure, a beer and a hot dog at a Major League Ballpark is a refreshingly American thing.  Unfortunately greed can screw this up as we watch 18 young male multi-millionaires play a kid's game.  Who's paying those ginormous salaries?  YOU ARE!

The following is not confirmed to be true, at this time.  It looks like real fans will be replaced by stupid people with no sense of the value of money.  Going to a Dodgers game on an empty stomach translates to just another step on your path to bankruptcy.
