Consummer Reports has been running a poll, asking their web site visitors to vote for the worst TV commercial. We have a winner! I was thinking that it might be from Progressive Insurance with Flo, or maybe the McDonalds breakfast commercial, but no, the people have spoken and the distinction goes to STAPLES! The commercial is the "That's A Low Price" ad featuring Ben Livingston, the pride of Marshall, Illinois. I live in Marshall, a metropolis of 3,700 and no, I don't know the guy. You can go to the Consumer Reports site and view the other commercials which are least liked by their visitors.
It just hit me! Wouldn't it be better for Consumer Reports to celebrate the best commercial(s)? This would be exclusive of the Super Bowl, of course. Yeah, the best!
