A 45 year old Florida grandmother and her boyfriend have been arrested for trying to sell the woman's infant grandson. The deal went down on Friday in Daytona Beach, as Patty Bigbee accepted $30,000 in exchange for her 8 week old grandson. (The kid's mommy is in jail.)
Originally, in October, Bigbee wanted $75,000 for the child. Authorities were notified and a sting operation was set up.
Grandma and boyfriend are both in custody charged with illegal sale or surrender of a child. Patty Bigbee is also charged with communication fraud.
Two things, Bigbee looks a little old for 45...are her eyes a little too close together?...and some people will do anything to avoid working!
