I watch Jeopardy every night!
This week Jeopardy is doing something that's a little different. They have two of their best players competing with an IBM computer named Watson.
IBM "stacked the deck" with this one, spending four years to program Watson. They claim that they had difficulty with slang and with words that may have multiple meanings. Welcome to reality, Watson.(...)
The whole show was an obvious infomercial for IBM. Shame on you, Jeopardy, for selling out! It took two episodes to play one game!
Watching a machine spit out correct responses is boring. Yes, machines can do certain things better than people...but they are boring!
For the rest of the week, I'll be watching DVRs of Judge Pirro.
