"The Price Is Right" chooses their 1st male model

Some things are OK the way the way they are. For 40 years, The Price Is Right was famous for having female models who would aid in showing off the wonderful prizes and showcases on the show. The girls were always gorgeous. They were the primary reason why many of us guys would tune in.

On a few different levels, this could be cool.  The show decided to have a contest where male models would compete for a modeling job. At first, I thought that this would be weird, but if you figure that the show is targeted to housewives, why not have a guy on the show?  The models are paid well, why not have an out-of-work male model make a few bucks? His name is Rob Wilson and he's from Boston and he'll be doing the modeling thing for a week, later in October. That's right, ONE WEEK! It's a cheap publicity stunt.

I say that if the show could survive for 40 seasons with women, why do we want to screw with it?  I am writing this on Friday night/Saturday morning.  I have a feeling that Saturday Night Live is going to have some fun with this one.
