Robert Fitzpatrick is a 60 year old retired MTA worker from Staten Island, NY. He believes that the world will end on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 6PM (5PM Central) That's when he says that a massive earthquake will end life on Earth. To prove that he really believes this, and to warn us, he has spent his life savings, $140,000, on ads.
He says that he knows that the end is near from the radio and that the voices on the radio (Family Radio) found it in the Bible.
Personally, I think that the likelihood of the world ending on a Saturday is remote, at best. Most of us get paid on Friday. I am sure that if we get caught in a "world ending" event, we will be cheated out of at least a few days' wages.
