Swift Thinking = Nice Story

I read about this, last night and felt the need to pass it along to you.

 There's an 18 year old kid named Kevin McGuire who is a High School Senior, in New Jersey, battling Leukemia. His concern? No date for the prom! (18 year old girls can be distant at times)

So, Kevin's sister starts up a Facebook page for her brother. The page asks Taylor Swift to be Kevin's date for the prom! The page acquires thousands of followers! (See it here.)

She finds out about this and for one reason or another, cannot make it to the prom. So, Taylor Swift does one of the classiest things that I've ever heard of, in show business. She offers to make it up to Kevin by inviting him to be her date at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 1.

Now, some of you may say that you are smelling a publicity stunt, here. The fact is, she could very easily have ignored the whole situation.
Right?
