Davy Jones of The Monkees died, today, he was 66. The report comes from Martin County, Florida. It is suspected that Jones died of a heart attack.

If you were alive in the 1960's, you knew The Monkees.   They were extremely popular for their music and for their TV show.  In 1967, the Monkees sold more records than The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, COMBINED!

Davy was lead vocal on many of their hit records and he was probably the most popular of the group, with their female fans
