Weatherproof Obama Ad

There's a billboard that went up in Times Square today. It's for Weatherproof. I've never heard of them, but I hear that they make real nice coats. The billboard uses the adjoining picture of President Obama at the Great Wall - wearing their product! The White House is not pleased. They say that the Prez does not do product endorsements and that Weatherproof did not have permission to use the photo. Weatherproof says that they got the OK from the photographer and that's all they need. The President is a public citizen, not a private citizen. Weatherproof thinks its cool that the Chief Executive would choose their product. They even call it "The Obama Jacket." Looking at the picture, if you didn't know that the man is who he is, wouldn't you think that he's modeling the jacket for one of those Sunday newspaper inserts?

By the way, this jacket retails for $225 but is on sale for $99 at Macy's. You know, in my line of work, I spend a lot of time outdoors. The zipper on my coat is getting stuck more and more often...Yeah..."The Obama Jacket".....hummmmmmm.....
