I just watched the first game of the 2020 NFL season and I have a suggestion for the NFL:
Just play football!
You are a large, successful corporation. Please do what your customers are expecting for you to do.
We want to watch football. We don't want for you to tell us how much you care about social matters. The truth is, many of us doubt your sincerity, anyway. Also, many of us do not want you to tell us how to think. We want to watch football.
If you are so interested in changing the world, please do so on your own. If you want to donate millions or billions to social causes, I don't care. It's your money.
I just want to watch football.
