Model Sues Match.Com

Is it match.com or match.con? Yuliana Avalo is a Florida model and mom (wife?) who says that her image was used by match.com with a fake biography. She says that it negatively affects her and many others like her and she wants money. Lots of money.

Her class action lawsuit is for $1.5 Billion. Match says that they gross around $350 Million a year. What does this mean? Well, lets look at the facts.

$1.5 Billion is a lot of damn money. If Avalo wins, match.com will go belly up and she and her lawyers and co-defendants will only get peanuts. It also looks like the litigation will go on for a long, long time. This bleeds match.com and the attorneys until a settlement is reached. Match.com is an affiliated sponsor of this blog. Are they guilty? Hell, I don't know. I put a link to their site, at the bottom of this post. You can visit their site for yourself. There is no charge to "look."

Remember, if something sounds too good to be true.......
it probably is.
